IQ Testing for School Admission
Some private schools require IQ testing as part of their admissions process. Dr. Simone provides IQ testing (WPPSI-IV or WISC-V) for children ages 2:6 and older. Testing generally takes between 1-2 hours and you will have the option of a feedback session to discuss your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
You may have concerns regarding your child’s learning difficulties, attention and concentration, academic achievement performance, or behavior issues. Dr. Simone provides psychoeducational testing to address the child’s strengths and weaknesses and tailor specific treatment planning to help improve weak areas and succeed in school.
A detailed written report will be provided to the parent or guardian and may include recommendations for school accommodations such as a 504 plan or IEP when applicable. Individualized recommendations will help your child succeed in school and at home.
